Rules for Santa

Rules for Santa.

I don't want to be some oracle or teacher here, anyway I suppose, that they are more experienced in Poland than I am, Mikołajowie, who would have more to say. There are some important things, however, which I think are very important. I will try to list these more important issues in a few points:

1. Attitude – I never hid, that I was giving away gifts for money. Never in any interview, and there were many of them, I did not hide the fact, that's what i do, I do because it brings a profit. Of course it's nice to see the faces of smiling kids, but it's also nice to know, that thanks to the money earned, you can buy gifts for your own family or pay your installments. Therefore, I will definitely never condemn anyone for this, that he is giving away gifts “for checkout”. However, what is important, if you do something and want money for it – do it right. If you count, that earning money on Santa is easy money, because you think, that it is enough to come in, throw out what's in the bag and grab it “payment” then you are wrong, and if you haven't had a chance to find out about it, you will surely notice it in the next year, when notoriety deprives you of your orders… There was a time when research was conducted for the tourism industry, the result of which can be translated into the work of Santa: A satisfied customer will attract another three, twenty will discourage you from dissatisfaction ! It is worth remembering this.

2. Outfit – a more detailed description of the outfit can be found in the "Santa outfit" section. I would just like to point out here, that if you plan to work for longer years or even for more than one visit, I suggest avoiding hypermarkets with costumes for pennies. More experienced people know what I mean.

3. Transport – for a period of greater intensity of orders, it is worth getting along with the driver. It's good if you work with a snowflake or a devil then it's easier to coordinate orders. There is nothing to hide the tour of all orders is a real logistic challenge and it is worth being well prepared for this when planning between each visit 10 reserve minutes for unexpected events.

4. Time of visit – As a rule, the visit time does not exceed 30 minutes, of course, it can change both ways. Don't try to force yourself to sit for half an hour because sometimes it doesn't make sense, Also, do not sit down with your watch in your hand and finish exactly at the thirtieth minute. Just, you will sense it yourself, that you should get together. Mostly after giving away gifts :). I propose a question for children “if Mikołaj can go now” 🙂 you will see the reaction for yourself ...

5. Alcohol – categorical ban on consumption. Even a little beer will do, that the image of the saint that the child remembers will not be a pleasant memory. On the occasion of alcohol, I will refer to other stimulants, especially cigarettes and coffee. If you can stand without them during visits, it will really increase the comfort of a visit for children.

6. Food during visits – It often happens, that the hospitality of the host is so great, that we will not be able to distribute gifts yet and we already have Christmas Eve dumplings on the plate. I sincerely advise against, because eating through the chin is not very pleasant (chyba, that someone has such a nicely raised own and is used to it). And if you want to drink something, I suggest a straw.

And that's it, actually, if you have any insights and advice, especially for beginners, write, I will gladly post them here.
