Santa suit.

At the very beginning, ask yourself what kind of Santa you want to be. I remember a conversation from the series “I am calling you in a very unusual case” on the appearance of Santa. Of course, you can say St.. Mikołaj was a bishop and such an outfit can be found 🙂 Nevertheless, Mikołaj comes to the children, and most of the children know Mikołaj in a red jacket with a white beard, i.e. Mikołaj – Coke 🙂
I will focus here on such an outfit, because I use one myself, and the opponents of such Santas may look for someone else.

What Santa suit to buy?

First, as I wrote earlier, I advise against buying cheap outfits with a cotton beard and trousers similar to cloths. Such pants are not enough, that they look cheesy, unfortunately they are not suitable for a larger number of visits. I recommend buying a real outfit. Pants, a coat, beard with hair, glasses, gloves, belt and shoes. Unfortunately, such a set is not cheap. A few years back I spent much more on this luxury 1000 zloty. The benefit of such a solution is this, that until today I only change the bags 🙂

Where to buy a Santa suit?

Until recently, I thought, that it is impossible to buy a good Santa outfit in Poland. However, I found a tailor shop on the Internet that produces regional costumes, including the costumes of the saint, snowflakes, little angels, devils and everything that will certainly be useful to you during your Christmas work. This store is called Olga and you can find it here. I highly recommend it !
For those who do not want to buy the entire costume right away, there are operetta theaters and companies, which professionally deal with this type of rental “props”.
The price of a complete outfit is approx 500-900 PLN depending on the option.

Santa's boots

Most of the costumes are sold without shoes. Of course, you can also find shoes for the saint, but buying shoes from abroad without measuring seems risky to me. In my case, I was able to solve this problem as follows: I walked around the women's sections of shoe stores and found one, which fit me in size and on which only the buckle informed about their female destiny. I neatly got rid of the decorating element, I polished my heels and to this day I wear women's shoes 🙂

Santa sacks

Very important equipment for every Santa. I propose to make this element myself, because the bags sold in stores can be wrapped as a gift and delivered together with the bag. Packing and unpacking gifts a few times, combined with carrying it, causes it to tear. In textile stores, it is worth looking for a good material and it is best to sew a double-thick bag.

Santa's gloves

White gloves go well with the red outfit, which additionally allow you to hide e.g.. hands too thin. They can be bought in stores with teenagers' clothing and ordered when buying a full outfit. It's worth having a few pairs to change, especially if during the holiday season you have a lot of work on visits and promotions because this white accessory likes to get dirty quickly.

Optional add-on, look nice with a beard, which is connected to the hair.

Santa's beard and mustache

Can be bought abroad. If you want to have something unique and according to your wishes, such accessories are created by the art departments of operettas and theaters, you can also ask in the aforementioned Olga store, from what you can see on their website, the fairy-tale beard is available only complete with the entire outfit.
Price approx 300-600 zloty

Summarizing and assuming, that you will be able to buy everything at the lowest prices comes out together: 1000 zloty ! The question is whether it pays off 🙂 (hehe i feel like in a warehouse “Business” tvn 24 :)) It all depends on how many customers we can count on, are we getting ready for work only 2 days of the year, or during the holiday season we are able to work on promotions.
For a clue, my little business plan:

Costs:
Outfit – 1000 zloty
Advertising – 100-150 zloty (including the cost of advertising on this website :-))
Fuel costs – 100 zloty
Addition: ok 1400 (with a slight hill)

I am very pessimistic about the potential profits)
6 of December:
2 kindergartens in the early hours – min po 150 PLN = 300 zloty
10 private visits, min after 60 PLN = 600 zloty

Between 6 December and Mikołaj, it is possible to work on promotions or in large centers. Profit min: 100 zloty / day – let's work by 5 days = 500 zloty
24 grudzień:
10 visits after 100 PLN = 1000 zloty
Sum of profits: 300+600+500+1000=2400

I leave the conclusions to you alone , remember though, that in a year the costs will be about 1000 PLN lower :))
