A fairy tale about Tomek and the sick cat
Long time ago, long ago, in a small town in Silesia, There lived a little boy named Tomek. Tomek was six years old and went to kindergarten. He was a very nice and caring child, and what he loved most in the world was his cat, Purr.
The purr was a little one, red kitten with big ones, green eyes. He was Tomek's best friend and they always had fun together. One day, Tomek came back from kindergarten and saw, that Mruczek is lying on the couch and looks sad. The kitten had a fever and did not want to eat.
Tomek was very worried about Mruczek. He knew, that she must help him. He asked his mother, what's going on with the kitten, and mom said, that Mruczek is sick and needs rest. Tomek decided, that he will take care of the kitten, until he recovers.
He brought Mruczek fresh water and food, he read him books and told him fairy tales. Mruczek slowly started to feel better. After a few days the fever dropped, and the kitten had an appetite again.
Tomek was very happy, that Mruczek has recovered. He knew, that he did everything, what he could, to help him. Since then, Tomek and Mruczek have become even closer friends. They played together every day and were never apart for long.
Moral: Friendship is very important. A true friend is always ready to help when needed.
